Hi, I'm Ashley!
Curious Cubs is a home away from home. Every child here is cared for like family, in a relaxed, home environment where they feel safe, nurtured, and valued.
I've called North County home since 2002, and I've been a mom since 2021. Caring for little ones has been a big part of my life ever since. I've volunteered in church child care since 2022, and in 2024 I opened Curious Cubs so I could give other families the same warm, loving care I want for my own.
Staying healthy is a big part of who I am. I exercise every day and eat mostly whole foods with little to no processed food, so wholesome meals and active play come naturally to our days. When I'm not with the cubs, you'll find me baking, hiking, or spending quality time with my family.

Care that grows with your cub
We focus on outdoor play and age-appropriate activities that help each child grow at their own pace.
Full-Time In-Home Daycare
Weekday care, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a warm home setting with a small, mixed-age group.
Full-time families enroll for a minimum of 3 days a week with weekly tuition, and you choose the days that work for you, like Mon/Tue/Fri or Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri. Your days are reserved just for your child.
Drop-In Care
Need a hand on a busy day? Drop-in care is available for families who need flexible, occasional care.
Once your enrollment paperwork is on file, just give 24 hours' notice to drop in any weekday, subject to availability. Drop-in days aren't held, so if you'd like the same days every week, full-time enrollment saves your spot.

- Enroll by filling out the enrollment packet and state licensing forms. No deposit is needed, so then it's on to your cub's first day!

Rates
Every family's needs are a little different, so tuition is quoted for your child and your schedule. Reach out and Ashley will share current rates and openings, usually during a tour.
What affects tuition:
- Your child's age (infant, toddler, preschool, or school-age)
- Full-time enrollment or drop-in care
- The days and hours you need
No surprises: There's no deposit to enroll. Tuition is paid in advance and is due the day before care begins, so for weekly payments with a Monday start, it's due Sunday. Ashley will go over tuition and holiday closures with you before you enroll.
Limited spots: With a small group of up to 8 children, openings fill quickly. Reach out to check current availability or join the waitlist.
Included: breakfast, lunch, and two healthy snacks each day
Holidays & closures: Closed on all federal holidays, plus the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
Child care subsidies: Welcome! Families apply for and set up their subsidy with their agency, and Ashley is happy to accept it once it's in place.
